He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Aasland and Myrtle Aasland; his sister Georgene Schaumburg; and his siblings-in-law, Buzzy Wilkinson, Janice Aasland and Vickie Aasland.

He is survived by: his wife Thelma; his children, Carol Hrncir (Arnie), Glenda Aasland, Bonnie Workman, Sally Skrip, Susan Nance (Terry), Glen Aasland (Dana) and Kristine Floyd (Brent); his grandchildren, Dustin, Patrick, Alicia, Kim, Maddison, Joshua, Stephanie, Ryan, Kendra, Seth, Sydney, Karly and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Ally, Catori and Arthur; his brothers, Maurice and William; and his brother-in-law Rodney Wilkinson.

In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Glenn to FMH Hospice, Catholic Schools of Fairbanks, a favorite , or consider making a batch of cookies to share with your neighbors or friends in honor of Glenn and his passion of making cookies for the youth at The Door.
