He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Andrea Straight; his parents, Ray Straight and Linnie Haught Straight; and his siblings, Donald Straight, David Straight and Nancy Yost.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Straight; and his children, Ray Straight (Dory) of Fairbanks, AK, Scott Straight (Sally) of Waynesburg, PA and Carol Green (Kevin) of Homestead.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Marion County Cancer Society or the Mt. Zion Community Church.
