She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Skeel; and her parents, Elaine Gardner and Charles Gardner. She is survived by: her sons, Brandon and Tyler Skeel; and her granddaughters, Tyanna Melak and Cerrinn Gurnsey Skeel.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for any donation to be considered for Let Every Woman Know, which is a local nonprofit whose Mission is to provide "creative statewide education, support, advocacy and arts programs unique to Alaska's diverse communities and is dedicated to preventing, facing and ending gynecological cancers.".
