William Richard West Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Richard West Sr. of Douglas, Alaska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Richard West Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ernest West and Mary Ann West (Harris); his great-grandparents, Richard T. Harris and Juneau; his grandparents, Richard (Dick) and Inez Harris; his brother Kenneth; and his son Kevin.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Kenneth, William (Juneau) of Wasilla, Emil (Rebecca) of South Carolina and Nicholas of Douglas; his brother David Colley (Barbara) of Luling, LA; and his grandchildren, Damian (Ray), Geneva (Caleb), Max, Heidi, Romi, Lindsay, Wesley and Tristen. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Church (325 Gold St, Juneau, AK 99801).
