He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Eklund; his siblings, Darrel Eklund and Donna Eklund; and his son Eric Gardner Eklund. He is survived by: his wife Alison Eklund; his daughter Jennifer Kildow (Marvis); his grandchildren, Marissa of Fairbanks and Zane Kildow of Fairbanks; his stepchildren, Jason Barnes and Teresa Barnes; his stepgrandchildren, Nadia Hoffhines and Gunnar Davis of Cordova; and his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Sleighter, Steven Sleighter (Annie) and Tony Nicolo.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry asked that donations be made to the Cordova Pounders Wrestling Team for their traveling expenses.
