He was predeceased by: his brothers, Paul Belz and Allen Belz; and his grandparents, Eleanor Belz and Edward Belz. He is survived by: his wife Melaina Belz; his father Frederick Belz; his stepmother Annette Belz; his mother Donna Petrie; his siblings, James Belz (Candy) and Linda Johnson (Matthew); his stepsisters, Nicole Bowman (Stephen) and Lori Montgomery; and also, Carol Campbell, Scott Campbell, Jerry VanMeter, Kimberly VanMeter, Melanie VanMeter Lawson and Jarrett VanMeter.
Because he was a caring and giving person, his generosity continued even after death by the donation of his organs and tissue which improved or saved many lives.
