He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Berg and Ruth Berg; his sister Kathleen; and his stepfather Mervin. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Leavens; his grandsons, Jeremy (Becky), Heath, Nick and Adam (Jared); and his siblings, Claudia, Gary, Kyle and Kristle.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Settler's Bay Lodge 5801 (5801 S Knik Goose Bay Rd, Wasilla, AK 99687).
In lieu of flowers, any contributions to honor his legacy will be directed toward education funds for his grandchildren.
