He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry W. Metcalf, Sr. and Frances Hayes Metcalf; his daughter Frances Lorraine "Suzie" Metcalf; and his brother Billy Ray Metcalf. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Reynolds Metcalf; his children, Jerry Lamar Metcalf and Michael Shane Metcalf (Fallon); and his siblings, Frankie Metcalf, Larry W. Metcalf, III and Mildred Reynolds of Tammie Baughcum. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
