He is survived by: his daughters, Monina Willis and Liling Sherry (John); his grandchildren, Aminah Willis, Samuel Sherry, Joseph Sherry and Taylor Mafileo (Gail Dalrymple); his former wife Juanita Pelagio; and his sister Kathleen Dingley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
