He was predeceased by: his father William Thielemann; his sister Kathleen Thielemann; and his daughter Shelby Thielemann. He is survived by: his mother Eileen Betty; his close friend Mildred Lindstrom; his brother Richard Thielemann; his children, Michael Thielemann Jr. and Amber Thielemann; and his grandchildren, Camille DeVries, Nicole Webster, Antonia Kelly, Alicia Kelly, Harper Leach, Liam Thielemann, Malek Thielemann and Mila Thielemann.
