As Mark departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mark leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald O'Brien and Evelyn O'Brien (McCoy); and his siblings, Robin and John. He is survived by: his wife Pamela O'Brien (Poynter); his daughters, Tiffany Henecke (Bill) of Florida and Molly Hart (Deric) of Anchorage; his granddaughters, Morgan Worthington (Justin) of Florida, Addison Hart and Teagan Hart of Anchorage; his great grandchildren, Harper and William Worthington of Florida; and his pet Brien. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mountain City Church (6401 E Northern Lights Blvd, Anchorage, AK 99504).
