With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kay Scharping of Anchorage, Alaska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kay left this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Scharping and Martha Scharping; and her brother Stanley Scharping. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Ruby Wilkinson (Greg); her nephews, Brian Scharping (Jan) and Jeff Scharping (Julie); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew Scharping (Emma), Robert Scharping, Eric Scharping, Nicholas Scharping, Heather Baldwin (Cody), Elizabeth Boswell (Seth) and Megan Jenkins (Forrest); her nephew Leif Jenkins; and also, Joseph, Paul Boswell, Charles Scharping and Aspen.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Mennonite Church (102 S Ash St, Hillsboro, KS 67063).
