He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo Alvin Spencer, Sr. and Iva Naomi Bolt; his brother Benjamin Spencer; and also Nadine Estes. He is survived by: his wife Elena Kashatok Spencer; his son Robert Whitney; his siblings, CindyVan Wye, Corinne McDonnell, Vera Kasayulie, Carol Rector, Flossie Spencer, Phillis Spencer Belz, Clara Ramos, Michael Stotts, Scott Selepack and Alvin Spencer; his nieces, Josie Coffman, Amanda Frederick, Kacey Crain, Celena Spencer, Sara McDonnell and Jasmyn Spencer; and his friend James Keel.
