He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phil Brammer and Nancy Brammer; his wife Kim Brammer; his daughter Kate Helle (Mitch); his grandchildren, Harper, Max and Brooks; his son Carson Brammer (Jasmine Stires); his grandchildren, Jude and Evelyn; his sisters, Vicky Scott, Jeanne Cole and Kathy Mincks (Bob Broadhurst); his daughter Emily; his brother Tom; and his pet Maverik. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Joe's grandchildren.
