He was predeceased by: his parents, Fanny Lofton and Louie Allen; his siblings, Shirley Durman and Louie Allen Jr.; and his grandson Kejuan Stinson.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Allen; his children, Melissa Allen, Sarah Allen, Cheryl Burse Smith and John Allen; his sisters, Ruth Jefferson, Rose Jefferson and Florence Coke; and his granddaughter Chassidy Stinson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
