He was predeceased by: his parents, Maree Mitchell and Vida Mitchell (Brock); his wife Cecile York; his children, Dennis (Melissa) and Terri (John); his grandchildren, Lydia (Alex), Owen, Rebecca (Drew), Cameron, Joseph, Corin and Braxton; and his great grandchild Isana.
He is survived by: his brother Harold Mitchell; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara and Peggy of Mississippi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
