He is survived by: his spouse Dee Ann Koehnke; his stepson Chad Koehnke (Mary Alison); his grandchildren, Evelyn, Bria and Avery; and his siblings, Bonnie Jefferson of Kennewick, Washington and Todd Bennett of Bellevue, Washington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, suggested donations include the American Cancer Society, NFCR (National Foundation of Cancer Research), Fred Hutch Cancer Center.
