He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt Russell Ring and Opal Mildred Ring (King); and his grandson Douglas Lee Byrd Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nola Ring; his daughter Brenda Anne Monett of Stroud; his granddaughters, Julia Day (Kevin Day) of Stroud and Jennifer Arvizu (Randy Wright) of Stroud; his brother Jerry Ring of Stroud; and his great grandchildren, Luke Day (Kailea), Lane Day, Diego Arvizu and Olivia Arvizu.
