She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Gaines and Fannie Gaines; and her sisters, Lela Borner, Juliette Lockett and Bennie G. "Kitty" Wright.
She is survived by: her sisters, Rosa Lee Morgan, Juanita Gaines, Fannie Gaines (Pete) and Marilyn Gaines; her children, Larry Gaines (Mary), Marva Weeden (Tony), Wanda Dale, Derrick Dale (Kym) and Clauresa Davis (Larry); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Gaines Willard, Lorenda James, Rose Gaines, Tra'Jonn Smith, Kendra Dale Kimball, Brittany Dale Hume, Teaira Davis and Jordan Dale.
