She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Allie Bateman and Clara Ellen Bateman. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey W. Bates (Jeanne); her friends, Peggy and Dick Marsh; her husband Gary W. Bates; her brother Dennis Bateman Sr. (Susan); and her grandchildren, Jessica Cantwell (Kellen) and Jacob Bates. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
