Sheila Sim, actress and widow of the actor Richard Attenborough has died at the age of 93, according to mirror.com. She had been diagnosed with dementia in 2013.Her death was announced after Tuesday night's performance of “The Mousetrap” in Nottingham's Theatre Royal. Ms. Sim had performed in the original production of The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie in 1952 alongside her husband Richard Attenborough.
She played the role of Mollie Ralston.She was most active as an actress in the 1940s and 50s. She had roles in the movies “A Canterbury Tale” and “West of Zanzibar.” She worked with the Actors’ Charitable Trust for more than 60 years.She married Richard Attenborough in 1945 and they remained married until his death in 2014. The couple had three children, Michael, Jane, and Charlotte.
Michael is an English theatre director and Charlotte has worked as an actress.Jane died during the Indian Ocean Tsunami disaster in Thailand in 2004. Their granddaughter Lucy also passed away during the Tsunam
