It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxwell Douglas Curlew (Whitehorse, Yukon Territory), born in Deer Lake, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 14, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Holly Goulding (Ted) of Deer Lake, NL, Cathy Rubia (Vince) of Mississauga, Marlene Ellsworth (Claude) of Deer Lake, NL, Frank Curlew of Whitehorse, YT, Perry Curlew (Leah) of Perth, Barbara Osbourne (Clyde) of Sparwood, BC and David Parsons (Cindy) of Fort Kent, AB; his siblings, Calvin (Dorothy), Winston (Shirley), Harry (Barbara), Donald and Sadie Shears; and his sisters-in-law, Joan and Irene.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
