He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo P. Chiasson and Florence Chiasson (Aucoin). He is survived by: his siblings, Leona (George Williams), Clifford (Anne McGlynn), Denise (Don Beadle), Andre and Singapore; his nephew Mark Williams of Kittimat, BC; and his nieces, Denise Williams, Hamilton, Marcia Dumbreck (Chiasson), Guelph, Ont, Jennifer Chiasson, Alberta, Julie Beadle and Sydney.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life, whether in Yukon or Nova Scotia, will occur when travel restrictions due to Covid-19 are lifted.
