We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2021, at the age of 73, Ingrid Wilcox (Whitehorse, Yukon Territory) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sister Gusti Torbick (Tina); her brother-in-law Stephen; her niece Kimberly Torbick; and her nephews, Gregory Torbick (Fiona) and Jonathan Torbick (Amanda). She is also survived by several cousins and extended family.

“Ingrid came to Dawson at my bequest, having been recommended by several, to come and support our community in learning to grow food again. She visited the community several times, three at least to share plant knowledge- starting, tending, harvesting. So much knowledge, shared so generously. In the time I became acquainted, I came to see that she was a woman of incredible strength and endurance and that her strength was rooted in kindness, good humour, And love. My sympathies to the family. Big loss for us all”
