Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Wesley Watson (Whitehorse, Yukon Territory), born in Mission, British Columbia, who passed away at the age of 81, on January 1, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Watson and Larissa Watson; his cousin Gerry Davis; and his brother Rob Watson. He is survived by: his children, Monica Watson Kane, Rod Watson, Alkan Air and Barrie; his wife Leona Watson; his daughter-in-law Rowenna Gryba; his grandchildren, Larissa Kane and Bodhi Flinn; his siblings, Kay Jarvis (Colin), Joy Watson, Rita Watson, John Watson and Jan Laidlaw; his nieces and nephews, Shawn Watson, Scott Watson (Jennifer), Ian Jarvis, Larissa Jarvis, Brock Watson and Hannah Watson; and his cousin Lance Davis.
A very special thank you to neurologist Dr. Charles Tai, Dr. Ken Quong and the care givers at Whistlebend Place for the three and a half year struggle with the added shadow of Covid isolation.
