She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Doug Storing and Kristine Storing; her husband Morris Prokop; her daughter Andrea Ross Verena (Wayne Butler); her grandchildren, Krystal Ross, Dustin Lukie (Aman Lukie), Jayden Chisholm and Jaxon Irving; and her great grandchildren, Shaan Lukie and Jay Lukie.

She donated photography and interview material to other authors of the history of the Yukon as well.
