He was predeceased by: his parents, Othmar and Martha; his siblings, Martha, Maria and Albert; and his son Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Jyl; his children, Jennifer (Ken) and Aaron; his daughter-in-law Nicole; his grandchildren, Jessica (Zachary), Hailee (Cory), Mark, Christopher, Geneva and Austin; his niece Heidi (Rick); his great-niece Krystal (Brett); his great-nephew Cody (Freija); his siblings, Othmar and Pia; and the mother of his children Lou. He is also survived by many friends who became his chosen family.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 12:10 PM at the Sacred Heart Cathedral (406 Steele St, Whitehorse, YT Y1A6N2). A reception will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rotary Peace Park (2052 2nd Ave, Whitehorse, YT Y1A1A8).
