It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Riddy of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Haniak and Sophie Haniak (Keneschuk); her husband Alex; her sons, Albert and Ross; her stepmother Minnie; and her siblings-in-law, Ross, Wally, Arnold and Charlotte.
She is survived by: her children, Val (Keith) and Sharon (Neil); her daughter-in-law Laura; her grandchildren, Amanda (Jon), Quailla (Mike), Stacy, Kristofer, Ledyn (Emma), Hana (Devon), Riley (Emily) and Dylan (Tanya); her great grandchildren, Jordan, Storm, Levi, Kane, Tyson, Ava, Scarlett and Jack; her brother Bill (Rosina); and her sisters-in-law, Sheila and Pauline. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
