Steve Slywka Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Slywka and Anne Slywka (Nastor); his stepfather Sam Ostrowercha; his siblings, Irene Muir, Bill, Mary (Jim Kurulok) and John (Leona Slywka); his stepbrother Mike (Olga Ostrowercha); his parents-in-law, Metro and Katie Andrusiak; his sister-in-law Gloria (Dan Filipchuk); his nephew Marvin Kurulok; and his niece Janice Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Perepeluk; his children, Kerry Perepeluk (Liz) of Yorkton and Mindy St (Ed); his grandchildren, Jennifer Newcombe (Ryan) of Regina, Dustin Perepeluk of Dunleath, Melanie Bauche (Andy) of Saskatoon, Garret Perepeluk (Autumn Voegtlin) of Tofield, AB and Leta Coutts (Logan) of Yorkton; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Isabella, Sadie Newcombe of Regina, Scarlett, Wren Bauche of Saskatoon and Thea Coutts of Yorkton; and his sisters, Nellie Wolkowski (Mike) of Regina and Vicky Ostrowercha (John) of Yorkton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Orthodox Church (89 Bradbrooke Dr, Yorkton, SK S3N2Y2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Yorkton and District Nursing Home or to Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Orthodox Church as gifts of remembrance.
