He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Holowatuk of Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church; his parents, Samuel Holowatuk and Nastia (Wowk); and his siblings, Mary Tysowski (John), Julia Tysowski (Tony), Eleanor Cherewyk (Peter), Bill Holowatuk (Annie) and John Holowatuk (Mary).

He is survived by: his children, Brenda Yuzyk and Brian Holowatuk (Brenda); his grandchildren, Krista (Jon), Kayla (Brendan) and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Laila, Sofia, Seth and Ava; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Andrychuk, Danny Andrychuk (Emily), Verna Andrychuk and Elsie Andrychuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in memory of Peter may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (1379 Kenaston Bld., Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5) as gifts of remembrance.
