He is survived by: his wife Vera Wassill of Yorkton; his son Pat (Renee) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Nicolas (Claire), Genevieve (Steven) and Alec (Hannah); his daughter Noreen (Gord) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Allison (Justin) and Graeme (Tenille); his daughter Tammie (Darrell) of Whitehorse; his grandchildren, Erin (Paul), Lynsey (Richard), Taylor (Marissa) and Bronwyn (Easton); his son Larry of Vancouver; his great grandchildren, Olive, Rosalie, Prairie, Henry, Bennett, Freddie and Bohdi; and his siblings, Dorothy Fulop (Jospeh) of Calgary and Clarence Wassill of Vancouver.
