He was predeceased by: his father Morris Kinequon; his brothers, Cameron Kinequon, Walter Kinequon and Darwin Kinequon; his niece Raven Kinequon; his nephew Vinny Esperance; and his father-in-law Harold Seesequasis.

He is survived by: his wife Maureen Esperance-Kinequon; his children, Glennis (George), Teneille (Fenton), Dylan (Sunrise), Anna (Mason) and Levi (Anika); his mother Beatrice Kinequon; his siblings, Lloyd (Rhonda), Delbert (Sheila), Derek, Dennis, Tim, Leon (Pam), Lorretta (Clay) and Lorraine (Richard); his mother-in-law Doris Esperance; his sisters-in-law, Charlene and Lorelei Esperance; his nephews, Dion, Joseph Marc and John Keewatin; his godsons, James Waylon Paul and Brett Esperance; and his adoptive parents, Freda Koochicum (Donald), Vera McNabb, Lynda Bigknife and Lorne Bigknife (Anita). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
