He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mazur and Michael Mazur; his sister Minnie Badun; and his niece Shannon Stachiw. He is survived by: his sister Pauline Stachiw (Syl) of Saskatoon, SK; his brother-in-law Walter Badun of Edmonton, AB; and his nieces and nephews, Glen Badun (Sandra) of Edmonton, AB, Debby Badun-Wright (Troy) of Edmonton, AB, Greg Stachiw of Calgary, AB, Jody Stachiw of Calgary, AB and Sheldon Stachiw of Edmonton, AB..
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a graveside service and burial will take place on May 22, 2021 at 11:00 a. m. at St. Michael's Church St Michael's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Parish RM of Emerald #277 (Wishart North) with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, for Joseph's love of animals, he would want all donations given to the SPCA.
