She was predeceased by: her grandson Brandon. She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth, Eleanor, Gordon, Lillian, Herb, Harold and Ida; her husband Dennis Stadnyk; her close friend Hoover; her children, Annette Burton, Jack Stadnyk (Regan), Paul Stadnyk and Loretta Stadnyk; her grandchildren, Kristen McGowan (Spenser), Dennis Burton (Erica), Cassy Snedden (Brandon), Daxton Moffatt (Christa), Desirae Moffatt, Ethan Stadnyk and Mykhailo Sheehan; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Jax, Navy, Hazel and Maggie. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home (210 Claude St, Wolseley, SK S0G 5H0).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honour of Shirley's memory and her fight against dementia to Wolseley Integrated Care Centre, c/o Wolseley & District Health Foundation, Box 134, Wolseley, Sk. S0G 5H0 (specify in memo line: Residents Activity Fund).
