He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Prettyshield and Estella Prettyshield (O'Watch); his siblings, Bernard, Victor, Barbara and Theresa; and his daughter-in-law Terri Prettyshield.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Thomson; his children, Garth, Kyle (Elaine), Twins Tania and Telly; and his siblings, Max, Carl, Victoria, Gladys, Joyce and Marie. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
