It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Dean Whitehat (Wolseley, Saskatchewan), who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Kequahtooway; his grandparents, Thomas, Marie Kequahtooway, Pat Flamont, Rose Kequahtooway, Ron and Flora Kequahtooway; his uncles, Dean Kaye, Bubba Kaye and Patrick Whitehat; and his brother Maxwell Kequahtooway.

He is survived by: his mother Joellia McLeod (Steven); his siblings, Tina Smoker, Tammy Kaye, Leslie Kochie, Mandy Kequahtooway, Hazel Whitehat (Billy), Rebecca Kequahtooway, Ylonda Kequahtooway (Jordan), Natasha Kinniwess, Wesley Kequahtooway (Tash) and Jordy Kaye; his niece Mya Kochie; his nephew Draydon Kequahtooway; his uncle Lindsay Kaye (Ted); and his aunt Natalie Whitehat. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
