She was predeceased by: her sisters, Marion Awty, Emma Skura (Nick) and Francis Birch (Tony); her brother-in-law Bill Barclay; her husband Lloyd McDowell; her siblings, Anne Smith, Helen McDowell, Janet Gall, Georgina Barclay, Ena, John and Alex Tait; and her grandson Cody Strass.
She is survived by: her children, Audrey, Gordon (Janet), Linda (John Laic) and Karen (Kenn Strass); and her sisters-in-law, Elda McDowell and Betty Tait. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
