With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katharine Nielsen (Wolseley, Saskatchewan), born in Gimli, Manitoba, who passed away on March 3, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paul; her children, Frances Passmore, Corrine Hutton, Richard, Michael, Christian and Craig; her brother James Myskiw; her son Colin; her children-in-law, Larry Passmore and Aline; and her parents, Mike Myskiw and Anne Myskiw. She was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, you may send donations to Peace Lutheran Church, Box 1346, Grenfell, SK S0G 2B0, to the Lakeside Nursing Home, Box 10, Wolseley, SK S0G 5H0 (cheques payable to the Resident's Activity Group), to your local SPCA or to the charity of your choice.
