She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Garland and Laura Garland; her husband Wesley Blackstock; her daughter Elva Hemsing; her siblings, Elsie Dayman (John), Laura Blackstock (Clarence) and Bill Garland (Kay); and her parents-in-law, Hugh, Essie Blackstock, Melvin Blackstock (Della), Gerald Blackstock, Mabel Wilton (Frank), Grace Goudy (Hugh) and Irene Blackstock.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Blackstock (Karen), Sophie, Bob Blackstock (Elly), Shirley Kodman (Glen), Heather, Parker, Emma, Hallam, Neil Kodman (Heather), Jennifer (Bryce), Clair, Brynn Dutka, Doug Blackstock, Courtney, Lenora Griemann (Dave), Madison, Cassidy, Mike Hoggarth (Candace), Nikolas and Shayna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
