He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Matity and Leona Matity; his siblings, Leona Straza, George Matity, Donna Drewitz, Bill Matity, Velma Martinson and Victor; and his in-laws, Marlin Martinson, Norm Drewitz, Robert Sims and Dan Straza.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Matity (Wakeford); his sons, David Matity (Donalda), Jeffrey Matity (Lori) and Jason Matity (Sharon Gerein); his grandchildren, Mitchell Matity (Denise), Kaitlyn Bullock (Bryce) and Benjamin Matity; his great grandchildren, Brynnlee Matity, Rayna Matity and Nash Bullock; his brother John (Marilyn) Matity (Regina); and his in-laws, Janice Matity (Moose Jaw), Jean Messer (Richard), Rena Sims, Dwight Wakeford (Anne), Jack Wakeford (Rene) and Trudy Matity. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
