The many hours spent visiting with her sister-in-law Lil and especially their drives in the countryside were enjoyed and even more so when she relocated to the Whitewood Community Health Centre, prior to the isolation from COVID-19.

Both Jack and Edna served on the vestry at St. Mary's Anglican Church, and Edna was an active member of the Anglican Church Women's auxiliary, was representative of the Forrest Farm Memorial Fund and enjoyed working with the Scissors Creek Auxiliary, sponsoring the Candy Stripers at Whitewood Hospital during that period of time.
