He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Widenmaier and Ruth Widenmaier (Gibson); his parents-in-law, Bob and Helen Holt; his sister-in-law Gwen Widenmaier; his niece Barbara Lynne Widenmaier; and his brother-in-law Billy Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Widenmaier (Holt); his sons, Corey Widenmaier (Christa) and Scott Widenmaier (Jaclyn); his brother David Widenmaier (Marj) of Carnduff; and his nephew D. J. Widenmaier-Smith (Carmen) of Saskatoon.
