She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Mitchell; her siblings, Joy Leitch, Carol Fedyk and Leonard; her sister-in-law Inga Crosby; her sons-in-law, Lloyd Howden and Sam Kowalko; and her parents, Mary Crosby and Lloyd Crosby of Expanse, SK..

She is survived by: her children, Janice Howden of Saskatoon, SK, Wayne Mitchell (Marlene), Esther Kowalko and Lucy Sorsdahl (Ken); and her siblings, Beverly Chow of Sherwood Park, AB, Shirley Kayter, Elliot Crosby (Marlene), Kelowna and Douglas Crosby. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
