He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Pelchat and Bertha Pelchat; his daughter Corina Anne Pelchat; his grandson Trevor James Pelchat; his siblings, Ruby Laxdel (Cecil), Pearly Stephenson (Ralph), Maria Kostiuk (Orest) and Claude Pelchat; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Rogowski, Ernie Farmer, Norman Hollier and Lawrence Impey.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah Pelchat of Goodwater, SK; his son Perry Pelchat (Darlene) of Goodwater, SK; his grandchildren, Kent, Troy, Jennifer, Payton, Kianna (Nick), Katie, Brettan and Austin; his great grandchildren, Haley, Keegan, Madison, Kierston, Kayden and Jaymisun; his great great grandchildren, Carter, Axxle, Zoey and Beau; his siblings, Opal Rogowski, Ursula Farmer and Donald Pelchat; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Pelchat, Judy Larsen (Gerald), Phyllis Hollier, Marie Impey and Miles Impey (Margaret). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Uric may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
