He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabina Skotniczny and Piotr Skotniczny. He is survived by: his wife Renata; his children, Kathy and Eugene "Kuba"; his grandchildren, Maciej, Patrycja, Julia and Christopher; and his siblings, Wlodzimierz Skotniczy and Janina Dybek.
