He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton McKague and Clara McKague (Brown); his sister Helen; his parents-in-law, Ben and Isobel Paxman; his sister Dorothy; his brother-in-law Gordon Ward; and his wife Ruth Paxman.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Chicoine, Deanne Slywka (Shayne), Alison, Tyler Kifferling, Dennis McKague, Michael, Aaron, Ashlee McKague, Donna Freeman (Garth), Lisa Hughes (Corey), David, Dallas Freeman, Marilyn Soch (Vern), Kristopher Soch and Adam Soch (Sonya); his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Blake Slywka, Zakk, Audrina, Harlee McKague, Seth Sawatsky, Ryder, Jackson Hughes and Emma Soch; his sister-in-law Joyce Gale; his niece Janice Krushlucki; and his nephews, Arthur and Brad Ward (Trish).
