He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Lutz and Myrtle Lutz; and his siblings, Myrel Earlywine (Ron), Evelyn Huycke (Raymond), Fern Snell (Bill), Willard Lutz (Betty-Anne), Howard Lutz (Celia) and Leonard Lutz (Anne).
He is survived by: his wife Burnelle; his children, Steven Maurer (Gail), Maureen Brumfield (Barry) and Scott Lutz; his grandchildren, Jameson Maurer, Josh Maurer (Amy), Candice Brumfield and Derek Brumfield; and his great grandchildren, Airlie, Archer, Leah and Alex. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
