She was predeceased by: her parents, William Krainyk and Frances Krainyk; her brother Joseph (Eugene Price); and her parents-in-law, Wilfred and Margaret Price.

She is survived by: her daughter Gina Foster of Lethbridge, AB; her grandchildren, Elissa and Jessica; her daughter Monique Raknerud (Darren) of Lacombe, AB; her grandchild Trystan (Cayli); her great grandchild Parker; her grandchild Morgan (Blake Weisgerber); and her siblings, Richard Krainyk (Ione), Bridget Hamoline (Raymond) and Dennis Krainyk (Norma). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marlene may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
