She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Brown; her parents, Johanna Helfrich and John Helfrich; her grandson Tyler Brown; and her sister Leona Borys.

She is survived by: her daughter Gayleen Kiviharju (Gerry); her grandchildren, Kaila and Kory; her son Greg Brown; her grandchildren, Tiffany and Tessia; her son Geoff Brown; her grandchildren, Ayana, Ngaia, Zinnia and Zoey; her children, Glenna Nord (Mike) and Brandon; and her siblings, Elaine Brodie, Wayne Helfrich (Lise), Clara Antoni (Raymond), Jack Helfrich, Sarah VanMarion (Dan) and Bill Helfrich (Anne). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
