He is survived by: his wife Pearl; his children, George Hamel (Sherry) and Kandie (Gerry); his grandchildren, Huxley and Halle; his children, Jacob Morey and Michelle Mercer (Barry); his grandchildren, Miriah, Shelby, Jade and Scott Mercer; and his sisters, Carol Nelson (Murray), Anna Lindgren and Florence Logan.
